iPhone & iPad App for Search Business Nearby on Mobile 'Tappa'

Client Brief

The client approached us with a requirement of developing a mobile app for deals and affiliate marketing.

Our Endeavor

Tappa is a mobile app where merchants can get registered to showcase their businesses. While the end users can look for a business near their places. Users can view available deals on this application and tap on the deal to go to the merchants' section. No product purchase would be made on this application.

Users need to make their profiles to utilize the utilities of the app. They can view the stores and products recommended to them. Recommendations are to be given by the friends of the users.

The application works on both online and offline modes that shows the showing distance of stores from the current location of a user using Apple's native location API as well as Google's API to get distance via streets. There was a limitation of Google's API for fetching up distance due to which we faced 0 km issue which trails us a long communication with client. At last we integrated both Google API and native Apple location API to make the client satisfied.
