Development of Joomla Based Site - Healing Touch Program

Client Brief

Client wanted us to design and develop an educational program offering classes dedicated classes in energetic therapy modality of Healing Touch (HT). Further, he also wanted the program to provide support for HT students, practitioners and instructors. The Healing Touch Program curriculum and teaching materials enhance the students learning experience and insure a consistent, informed and complete education.

Our Endeavor

We have developed the project using Joomla framework. The instructor and coordinator can either register themselves with the site or can be registered by the admin. Once they are registered, they can manage their own profile as well as can add new class to the already existent schedule. Further, they can add new students or an existing student (or by searching the existing registered student) in the classes created by them.

Once the student is done with the classes, he/she will have to pay the required class fees to get the certificate. After the payment is through, instructor or coordinator of the class will have the right to unlock the paid students for the certificate. We have added such functionality so that the admin can enjoy the primary authority to mark a student as "paid" who have paid the amount in full. Instructor and coordinator can generate certificate only for those students whom the admin of the site has unlocked.

Administrative functionality of the site includes creation of instructor and coordinator as well as students. Creation of classes and approval of those classes can be created by instructor and coordinator.
