Development of The Live In Care Company Website Using WordPress

Client Brief

'The Live In Care Company' offers home care support services in and around Nottingham and Reading, UK. The client wanted to create a healthcare agency website to connect the home care service seekers and the helpers. Additionally, wanted to add the search functionality, chat feature, customer's review & rating features and the integration of Sage Pay payment gateway.

Our Endeavor

We developed the website using WordPress CMS with supporting technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL

Below are the key implementations, we have done for this project:

• Customer's Account: It included customer’s profile, messaging facility, a summary of orders and the history of financial transactions.
• Helper's Account: It included helper's profile, address, messaging facility, account summary, and the availability in the weak days.
• Search Module: We added search module on the site for:
  • Helpers to search prospective customers and send them direct messages 
  • Customers to search helpers, share their personalized home care needs and hire them either on short-term or long-term basis
• Review & Rating Feature: We added the review & rating feature for the customers to post reviews/ratings.
• Sage Pay Payment Gateway: We integrated Sage Pay payment gateway on the website to process a secure online transaction.
• Chat Feature: We also added chat features on the website to interact with customer support in the real time.
